Gokhan2I am currently working as associate professor in the department of Management, in Plaster School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Lindenwood University.

I am passionate about teaching, specifically Analytics, Machine Learning, Sustainability, and Computer Modeling. I like to use experiential learning, project, problem, and inquiry-based learning in my teaching and integrate service learning to my courses. I like to integrate my research expertise in analytics, sustainability, simulation and optimization (Check my research lab page @ ASOS) in teaching and strive my students towards realizing their full potential in professional world!

I previously worked in the department of Mechanical, and Industrial Engineering at University of New Haven and as assistant professor of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at North Dakota State University. Prior to my academic positions, I  worked as postdoctoral research associate in the Dept. of Civil, Environmental and Construction Engineering at University of Central Florida.

I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Systems Engineering and M.S. degrees in ‘Industrial and Systems Engineering’ and ‘Civil Engineering’ at Ohio University, and my B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.

I am always in the lookout for potential regional/global profit/non-profit partners who are passionate about contributing to professional development of youth, supporting academia, and partnering with me on consulting/pro-bono projects that create value for businesses, students, academia, and society in general.
